Let’s Stop Blaming God and Start Taking Aligned Action
There’s a hard truth we sometimes need to sit with on our spiritual journey:
Not every delay, detour, or disappointment is a divine test or some mysterious “lesson from God.”
Sometimes, it’s just us—avoiding the work, ignoring the nudges, and sitting in cycles of fear while calling it “waiting on God.”
Yes, divine timing is real. Yes, the Universe has a rhythm. But that doesn’t cancel out the role we play in co-creating our lives. Sometimes we’re not blocked—we’re just not moving. We’re procrastinating. We’re overthinking. We’re waiting for certainty instead of following the guidance we’ve already been given.
Let’s be honest for a moment:
How often do we pray for a breakthrough, only to avoid the very action that would lead us there?
How often do we ask for signs, but ignore them when they don’t show up the way we expected?
How often do we blame spiritual stagnation on God, when in reality we’ve settled into comfort zones and called it faith?
It’s time to reclaim our part in this divine partnership.
It’s time to take aligned action.
That means listening to those intuitive nudges.
That means moving forward—even when it feels uncomfortable.
Especially when it feels uncomfortable.
That means being honest about where we might be self-sabotaging with fear, excuses, and patterns disguised as “waiting.”
The truth is, God is always working. But we’re not always following. And if we keep resisting the steps we’re being guided to take, we can end up stuck in cycles we were never meant to stay in—or worse, miss the very opportunities we’ve been praying for.
We must help ourselves as we work with the divine.
We must trust that when we move, heaven moves with us.
